The ACW Phenomenal Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by Awesome Championship Wrestling (ACW). The current champion is Luke Smith, who is in his first reign.

History Edit

The inaugural champion was crowned at Rebellion on July 28, 2013 in a Fatal 4-Way Ultimate X Match. On the July 5, 2013 episode of Ignition, the ACW Intercontinental Championship, the ACW United States Championship and the ACW Television Championship were announced to be unified by the end of the ACW International Championship Tournament at Rebellion. In the tournament, the wrestlers have been set to determine participation in the Battle Royale semifinals on Ignition while the champions had to defend their belts on RAMPAGE if they are to make it to the finals in a Fatal 4-Way Match.

As the tourney went on, Dante retained his United States Championship against Vergil, then James Griffin was declared as the new Intercontinental Champion after defeating Mason Stone, the inaugural titleholder, and Luke Smith retained his Television Championship against Nathan Drake, all of which the losing challengers go on to the Battle Royale as a second chance. PewDiePie, who was ACW's backstage interviewer, entered the tournament by the fans' support and went on to win the Battle Royale semifinals after eliminating Vergil last. At Rebellion, Smith defeated PewDiePie, Dante and Griffin to become the inaugural champion, and as a result, Smith unified all three belts into the ACW International Championship until he announced the name change into its current title.
