The Gaang's master waterbender
Katara is a major character in the Nicktoon Avatar: The Last Airbender. She is a waterbender who, along with her brother Sokka, discovered Avatar Aang frozen in an iceberg and accompanied him on his journey to master bending the elements to save the world. She tends to act as the Team Mom of sorts for the Gaang, and over the course of the series, ends up falling in love with Aang.
