Liam James Eric (born January 11, 1992), best known by the ring name Liam Eric, is a Filipino-American professional wrestler currently signed to WWE on the Raw brand, but was later drafted in the Smackdown brand.

Eric, who has long been regarded as one of WWE's greatest professional wrestlers, for winning its every title, becoming the 14th Grand Slam Champion, as well as winning the 2016 Royal Rumble, winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match 2016, winning both NXT's championship and tag team championship, among many others.

In both 2015 and 2016, Pro Wrestling Illustrated's readers voted Eric as the Wrestler of the Year.

Early lifeEdit

Liam was born on January 11 in Manila, Philippines. Liam's parents are Cecilia, a Filipino hairstyler, and Brandon, an American company owner. His parents first met in a press conference during Cecilia's 22nd birthday. Liam's parents separated with each other, and he joined their mother to stay in the Philippines, while his elder sister Jade joined their father in America. Years later, his mother married a British man named Ivan, and have a daughter named Ivy. Meanwhile, his father married an unknown woman and have a son together.

Professional wrestling careerEdit

Training (2003-2005)Edit

Eric have no prior experience in wrestling, and he just simply trained on multiple gyms and wrestling schools. Eric moved to San Francisco to pursue his dreams of becoming a wrestler on 2002. Eric started wrestling at the age of 13. Since then, Eric would began wrestling at multiple wrestling schools and backyard wrestlings. In 2006, Eric would began wrestling in some independent promotions, until 2007 when he decided to stop wrestling.

Taking a break (2007-2008)Edit

Since 2007, Eric didn't wrestle for no apparent reasons, implying that he would like to "rest". Eric would take a break until 2008, when he decided to wrestle again due to financial problems.

Independent circuit (2008)Edit

Eric made his debut in Evolve on May 16, 2008, defeating Michael Tarver. He later won the Evolve Championship on July 25. His reign continued until November 8, until he lost it to Steve Steven the next day. Eric would also start appearing in Chikara but only twice.
