Solid Snake, also known as Old Snake, is the main character of the Metal Gear video game franchise. He was a former spy, special operations officer, and mercenary. He was the product of the Les Enfants Terribles project and therefore one of the clones of the legendary soldier Big Boss, along with his clone brothers Liquid Snake and Soildus Snake. Possessing an IQ of 180 and being fluent in six languages, he was known as "the man who makes the impossible possible" and his exploits made him a living legend among the military black ops.
